Thinking Out Loud

Thinking out loud....

Jesus didn’t say people would see our

bumper stickers,

hollow fish,

trinity t-shirts,

bibles,

church attendance pins,

hear our Christian music,

visit our political rallies, etc.

and then glorify God in heaven.

He said let them see your good works.

And then God even went as far as preparing some good works ahead of time for us to do. You know. Like the kid that says, "I can't find..." whatever it is you just told him to get.

And how do we respond?

"Did you look?"

Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with all that other stuff, but

it’s not the point.

Good works don’t get us through to heaven, but it may allow others to get a glimpse of heaven through us.
